Signed to Atlantic Records now Warner Brothers, taking his stage name from his hustler father's nickname, "Gucci Man," his first single, "Icy," peaked at #23 on the Billboard Hot Rap Tracks charts, and his first album, Trap House, peaked at #101 on the Billboard 200. His second album, Hard 2 Kill, was released in 2006, followed by Trap-A-Thon and Back to the Trap House in 2007, all of which sold well as independently released albums.

Gucci Mane Released from Jail
Gucci Man has been released form jail early,
Gucci has only served 6 months out of his 12 months sentence, Gucci was
originally incarcerated for
violating probation in 05, his last album sold over 350k units in the US
alone.
Gucci will make his first appearance out of jail at the Hot 97 summer jam
which will defiantly be a huge one for all Gucci fans.

Gucci Mane facing fresh civil complaints.
Gucci Mane who is back in jail after parole violations is
now facing new problems with many people who booked
Gucci for events via his management have claimed to pay
money that has never been returned even though Gucci Mane
never performed at their shows/events/nightclubs.
One promoter claims he paid Gucci manes management up to $50,000
in cash for Gucci to perform and he never showed up now this promoter
has filed for around 175k in damaged.
Gucci mane one of the Winter Olympians favorite picks. Many competitors from the 2010 winter Olympics in Canada have said that Gucci Mane is their favorite artist to play before going into competition, some have quoted that one of the best songs to pump them up before a race is the track Gucci Mane - Bingo which can be heard below -

Gucci Mane back in Jail
Well you have heard it - Gucci mane is back in jail, he has received another 12 months for a probation violation. The sentence was handed down yesterday. Gucci was found guilty of attacking a promoter and faces a years jail but failed for do all his community service. Gucci has dropped at least 5 new tracks since he has been free with a new album on Warner bros records set to drop very soon. Gucci has two big club bangers with Wasted and spotlight and has recently appeared on many smash his track. So what will this new jail time do for Gucci mane, hopefully it makes his fan base stronger and the new album is a hit. FREE GUCCI MANE!!!!

Gucci mane new album is comming out on December 8th so basically a month from now till we hear some new gucci mane fire..The new album is going to be called "the state vs Radric davis. Its a play on his current legal problems with the state not allowing radric to perform in certian areas. Gucci Mane and Plies have just released the new video of the track Wasted, this is a real club hit, the video starts with Gucci and some goons chilling out side of a bus, then moves onto a a pool party at a mansion with girls in bikinis, people drinking, its pretty cool video... City leaders say they
fear Gucci Mane Show?
So it seems a few sites have articles about how
city leaders have feared a Gucci Mane show
that went on as planned over the weekend.
Albany city manager said he did not want
Gucci Mane Coming to his city at all and was
going to try every thing in his power to keep the
entertainer from performing in Albany.
I think Gucci Mane deserves to have his music played
any where and deserves to perform any where if he
has adequate security and the crowd is ok what's the problem.

Does
Gucci Mane deserve to be in the top 10 MC's of 2009?
Well this is the question been asked by many in the music world at the
moment,
does Gucci Mane the Hood hero and mix tape master deserve to be rated
as one of the
top 10 mc's of 2009 along side others such as Lil Boosie, Rich boy and
others.
Gucci Mane is a very consistent rapper who is been in and out of jail
he still brings
out that fire for the fans and is all ways creating new material with
artists
this is why I believe Gucci Mane deserves to be in the top 10.
Also reports this week are that Gucci Mane is back in Rehab, well
it seems that Gucci Mane has been arrested a fair bit for various
reasons
well he has done a few probation violations and all sorts of other
issues
with the law. Well the courts have struck a deal with Gucci Mane
saying he
needs to go to rehab for 2 months so he can stay out of trouble.
More news on Gucci Mane will be told as we get it.

Gucci Mane back in Jail, well the rumors are in the street
that Gucci Mane our Favorite hood figga has been locked up
for violating his probation terms, We all know Gucci Mane
has not had the best history with parole violations and
completing community service. Yet Gucci Manes
attorneys have said that Gucci Mane is not incarcerated and
that the rumors are false, its a matter that is before
the courts is what they are saying.
Yet it is true that their is a warrant for gucci's arrest
out their by police which is not good at all. This latest
parole stint could leave Gucci Mane in Jail for up to 2
years which is not good at all for his loyal fan base or
artists who love supporting next to Gucci Mane at concerts
and festivals.
We will keep you posted on what happens with Gucci.
